The event will include a sit-down dinner and speeches by Mr. Mimura and Ms. Noguchi and the always stimulating Q&A session, which give our members a unique opportunity to ask their favorite question.

Mr. Akio Mimura is a graduate of HBS (MBA f72) and has served as President of Nippon Steel Corp. since 2003.  He is credited with revitalizing Nippon Steel Corp., the largest steel maker in Japan.  He frequently visits the factory floor and his management philosophy emphasizes the importance of ggembah, the actual sites where the companyfs business takes place.  His management style also firmly stresses the importance of implementation to the success of any companyfs strategy.

Ms. Mika Noguchi is among an increasing number of successful female entrepreneurs.  She founded Peach John in 1994 and serves as President.  Peach John Co. markets fashionable lingerie to women and has a mailing list of over 2.8 million customers whom it targets with its mail order catalogue.  Peach John sales grew to 17 billion yen in 2006 with profits of 2.8 billion yen.  In 2006, Peach John entered into a capital allowance with Wacoal to help expand its business base.

Donft miss this opportunity to meet these two outstanding business leaders of Japan.
